In 2017, way before I started traveling a traveler made a youtube video about HongKong and I showed that video to my brother and said I would visit that place one day.

Airport

You can skip that part it's just personal experience. Photo
I was in vietnam for a month and my visa was going to expire so I told my little brother that I come so far, and I am not going to miss the chance to visit Hong Kong. on 26 November 2023, I arrived at Hong kong airport. and with my passport I could stay up to 14 days without a visa. but the stopped me in immigration for 1h05m, the immigration officer was so nice he asked me so many question about my life, source of income etc.

First impression

Photo Beside the time i spend in airport i was still super excited about the city, I took the bus and head to city and the hostel, location wasn't knowing that I had to ask a guy the entrance of building(big) and he told me I will contact the owner of the hostel, and we end up in same hostel, and same room, it was unbelievable he soon introduced me to a guy in the room and I become friend with him, there was also Japanese guy in the room, I thought he was a member of Yakuza 😁 (He is my friend were spend a lot of time together). so the second day we went to restaurant together (two Chinese) the suggested a place where I first had chinese food and i liked it, they helped me buying sim card+metro card.

Hong Kong Museum of Art

I'm not guy who's interested on art but that museum was different, the way they present their work (paints) was not like in any other museum I have been to, and it was free entry, I also got picture and free t-shirt. Thank you. Photo

University of Hong Kong

After the museum I went to University of Hong Kong, I was amazed by the beauty of the campus, I was thinking about studying how it would be to study there, and we took some pictures and left.

Victoria Peak

I asked the japanese friend to come with me to Victoria Peak, and we took a metro + bus to reach there, and we took a lot of pictures, and drone footage by chinese guy (he was a professional drone pilot).

Macau 🇲🇴

Photo Arrived to Macau and I was shocked that you don't have to exchange money you could still use Hongkong dollars and it's same value (even ATM they offer both currencies when it comes to withdrawal). I paid $25 for Visa on arrival, and took a bus to the city Photo

Gambling in Macau has been legal since the 1850s when the Portuguese government legalised the activity in the autonomous colony. Since then, Macau has become known worldwide as the "Gambling capital of the world". It is the only place in China where casino gambling is legal.****

Conclusion

Although The difficulties I faced at the airport, the country was so great that I would visit again in the future. Photo
